U.S. Rep. Bob Latta, R-Ohio, announced his office will host two informational meetings, including one in Elyria, for students and families from Ohio's Fifth District regarding the United States Military Service Academy nomination and appointment process for the 2024 academic year, according to a news release. The Elyria informational meeting will start at 7 p.m., Oct. 3, at the Transportation and Community Center, 40 East Ave., the release said. A second informational meeting starts at 7 p.
